ABE Business Management
This course prepares students in the fields of marketing, finance, accounting and human resource management. It is divided into four levels viz Certificate, Diploma I, Diploma II and Advanced Diploma levels.
The ABE Advanced Diploma is the apex of the business administration and management course. It provides opportunities for further studies in Masters in Business Administration (MBA) programmes and direct entry to stage two of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
ABE Certificate
Entry Requirements
No formal qualifications are required, but applicants must demonstrate competence in the English Language.
Course Structure
Four compulsory subjects:
- IB – Introduction to Business
- IQM – Introduction to Quantitative Methods
- IA – Introduction to Accounting
- IBC – Introduction to Business Communication
ABE Diploma Part I
Entry Requirements
- ABE Certificate.
- Two GCE ‘A’ Levels plus four GCSE passes at Grade A, B, or C, two of which must be English Language and Mathematics.
- Mature students who are 21 years of age and have been in appropriate employment for at least two years. A reference letter from employers in this respect will be required.

- QM – Quantitative Methods for Business and Management
ABE Diploma Part II

- MKT – Marketing, Policy Planning and Communication
- HRM – Human Resource Management
- MA – Management in Action (synoptic)
Plus two from the following options:
- PBL – Principles of Business Law
- SA – Systems Analysis and Design
- MA – Managerial Accounting
ABE Advanced Diploma
ABE Advanced Diploma graduates from Oshwal College are eligible for advanced entry to study for further professional qualifications or obtain useful exemptions on a range of university courses in the UK, Australia and other countries.
Entry Requirements
- ABE Diploma Level II
- A degree awarded by a recognised University.
