Greenwich is the Best University In London

The Sunday Times commented that:

“Greenwich is one of the leading post-1992 institutions for the value

of its contract research and consultancy work, which brought in almost

£35m over the past three years as a result of its expertise in areas

from computer modelling and software development to electronics

manufacturing, drug delivery and food management. One of the

university’s research breakthroughs was recently named by British

academics as one of the 10 most important discoveries made by a UK

university over the past 60 years. Greenwich’s scientists developed an

artificial cow that attracts and kills tsetse flies, which transmit

the deadly sleeping sickness. It has led to a dramatic fall in

outbreaks of the disease which kills thousands of people in Africa.
