College Rules
PART I: GENERAL RULES
The College is open to all students irrespective of caste, religion, colour or sex, but reserves the right of admission on grounds of academic performance and good behaviour.
The College will provide tuition only.
All foreign students must comply with the Kenya Immigration Regulations e.g. alien registration, pupils pass, etc. before they may be admitted.
All fees must be paid in advance. Admission and tuition fees once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
The necessary registration/examination/annual subscription and any other fees are to be paid by the student directly to the Examining Board/Professional Association of the courses undertaken. The College will not be responsible for any consequences arising out of lateness/non-payment of fees to the respective Boards.
Students shall purchase their own study materials (textbooks, manuals, stationery, etc.)
Transfer from one course to another will only be allowed within a fortnight of joining the course or release of the results, subject to space availability.
The College shall not be liable for any loss or damage to the student’s property or for any injury sustained by him/her while participating in any indoor or out door activities organised by the College. In case of any emergency the student will be admitted to M P Shah Hospital for necessary treatment, but all costs and bills shall be payable by the student.
The College is authorized to obtain students examination results for analysis purposes.
Students organising educational tours or any other corporate activities on behalf of the College must obtain written permission from the Principal.
PART II: DISCIPLINE
The College property (equipment, materials, furniture, etc.) must be used with proper care. Students shall be liable to pay the replacement value for damage to any property of the College.
Smoking, use of alcoholic drinks & drugs and playing loud music within the College premises is strictly prohibited.
PART III: ATTENDANCE
Students must attend all lectures, practicals and tutorials. Where a student fails to maintain 75% attendance, he/she may not be allowed to register for the following semester.
Disruption of lectures by either reporting late or leaving early amounts to misconduct.
